Exciting times for Amy’s Button Box!
Lots of people have been inspiring me this week, from friends speaking words of encouragement to blogs writing posts that touch on a nerve! Two of those blogs are Build a Little Biz and Doris Loves, read on to find out how they have inspired me this week!
A sparkly fab new logo is in development as we speak! I’ve been working with the fabulous Hannah Wright who has come up with some great concepts for my new logo. Watch this space for more details! Inspired by Karen Gunton of Build a Little Biz and her recent post ‘It’s not a tattoo‘ I’ve decided to get my new logo up and running next week!
I’m in the process of running my first BeRitzy event – a 1920s themed craft party where guests will feast on cakes and cocktails whilst making their own custom 1920s headdresses! The event will take place March/April so stay tuned for pictures! To see my inspiration for the event head on over to my BeRitzy Pinterest page!
And possibly most exciting of all I have booked onto my first wedding fair! Meep! Belle’s Bazaar, Horsham, 4th May 2013! I’ve spent the past month visiting various wedding fairs to see which will most suit what Amy’s Button Box has to offer and I think the Belle’s Events are an excellent place to start. So it is full on planning and prep time now and it’s very exciting. Over the coming weeks I’ll be posting sneak peeks of what I’m preparing. My booking onto this wedding fair was inspired by a post written by the lovely Amanda Champness-Kent of the fabulous Doris Loves. Amanda wrote a post recently about how support and deadlines can give you the boost you need. I’ve had the privilege of meeting the lovely Mrs Champness-Kent at the Rock My Wedding Real Brides Hen Party last year and I’m so excited about her new business venture. I’ve been visiting local wedding fairs and haven’t found any that reflect the style of Amy’s Button Box, but when I saw that Amanda had exhibited at one of the Belle’s Events, I figured if Amanda rates it, I do too! And I’m all booked in! Amanda was right – a deadline does give you some momentum!
